Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Position is for a Radiology Technologist, not an RN
• Work in Interventional Radiology department on the 1st floor of the main building
• Day shift includes 3-4 Techs, 3-4 RNs, and 1 Scheduler/Coordinator
• Night shift operates on call basis
• 1-2 nights of call per week, 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends
• Patient ratios depend on type of IR procedure being performed
• Work with Discovery 740 IGS equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have critical care experience, procedural area experience, and moderate sedation experience
• PALS and Meditech experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Perform biopsies/drain insertion, angiograms/peripheral vascular procedures, paracenteses/thoracentesis
• Assist with other imaging needs including CT Coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms
• Assist with line placement procedures
• May float to CT, MRI, or general Radiology departments
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must be outgoing, self-starter, team oriented with positive personality
