RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call requirements
• Float as needed within facility
• 2 years of acute recent care experience required
• High-acuity and cardio experience is a must
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 during days, 1:5-6 during nights
• Work with equipment including IVs, PCA pumps, epidurals, ketamine drips, wound vacs, chest tubes, central lines, PICCs, and specialty beds
• Manage complex wounds, burns, trauma patients, tube feeding, and various drains
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• BLS certification required
• Must complete online education modules
• Any color scrubs acceptable in fragrance-free environment
• No headphones, hoodies, open-toe shoes, gel polish, or artificial nails permitted
• Must be quick learner, team player, flexible, adaptable, and accountable

This healthcare facility features a fast-paced, high-acuity medical surgical telemetry unit with 44 beds plus overflow capacity and 6 embedded IMC beds. The unit specializes in caring for high-acuity cardio and medical telemetry patients, providing comprehensive post-operative care and managing complex medical conditions. The facility maintains a team-oriented environment that emphasizes both hard work and a positive workplace culture, utilizing modern technology and equipment to deliver quality patient care.
