RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No call requirements
• Float as needed to other units
• Must have 2 years of acute recent care experience
• High acuity/cardio experience is a MUST
• BLS certification required
• Complete online education modules as required
• Fast-paced, high acuity unit with 44 beds plus some overflow and embedded IMC (6 beds)
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 during days, 1:5-6 during nights
• Work with complex equipment including IVs, PCA, epidurals, ketamine drips, wound vacs, specialty beds, central lines, PICCs, chest tubes, and more
• Care for high acuity patients including cardio, med tele, complex wounds, burns, and trauma cases
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Any color scrubs acceptable in fragrance-free unit
• No air pods/headphones, hoodies, open-toe shoes, gel polish/artificial nails allowed
• Must be quick learner, team player, flexible, adaptable, and accountable
