RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• On-call requirement: Yes
• Floating requirement: Yes, to other departments as needed
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS & ACLS from AHA certification required
• Must have current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
• Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to developmental age of patients
• Must be knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in care delivery
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking
• Perform heavy physical effort to position, push and transfer patients or equipment
• Requires considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching
• Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases and x-rays
• Working hours varied with flexibility for unexpected schedule changes and emergencies
