RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 13-week contract assignment in operating room/surgery department
• Day shift schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call requirements included in assignment
• Weekend work possible based on facility needs
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in operating room setting
• Work with varied OR equipment including Microscopes, Robot DaVinci Xi, Mako Robot, Laparoscopic Stryker tower, Stealth, and endovascular Hybrid room equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have minimum one year general OR knowledge
• General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience required for both RN and Tech positions
• CVOR candidates must have at least two years CVOR experience including ALL ADULT open heart cases, OPEN and ENDOVASCULAR cases
• Must be willing to work with Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement)
• Trauma and vascular surgery experience preferred
• Typical procedures include X-lif, A-lif, Decompression, ACDF, Craniotomy, Robotic surgery, Ortho Trauma, total joints, general open and laparoscopic surgery, CABG, valves, surgeries of the Aorta, TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases
• Must be flexible working in different types of rooms with different cases
• Light blue scrubs provided by facility
• Willingness to assist with training new grad techs or RNs preferred
