Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work day shift 5x8 schedule, either 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (depending on patient load)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• Treat approximately 65-70 patients per day in department
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Use sophisticated radiation therapy equipment including Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and new Radixact (installing by August 2024)
• Work with Mosiaq and EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients
• Perform patient setup and imaging procedures
• 2 years of radiation therapy experience in hospital setting required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ARRT, and RRA
• Experience with linac treatment and patient communication skills essential
• Elekta workflows can be taught on-the-job
• Black scrubs required (colored scrubs not acceptable)
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• No float requirements

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
