RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years Medical Surgical experience required
• Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• May be required to float to other units based on organizational needs and competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays
• RN to patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Work in 38-bed unit with all private rooms specializing in Medical Surgical Orthopedic and Neurosurgery
• Care for patients with total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, cervical and lumbar surgeries, fractures, traumas, limb preservation, wound I&D, and medical overflow patients
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients including their families/caregivers
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed
