RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with variable start times
• No weekends required in standard schedule
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Late coverage may be required
• Must have Nevada RN license prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• 2+ years of operating room experience required
• Must be well versed in all procedures listed in unit description
• Work in Same Day Surgery Center with 8 operating rooms
• Care for patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Handle procedures including General, Ortho, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, Gynecology, Dental, Oral Maxillofacial, and minimal Endoscopy
• May be required to float to other areas based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Provide comprehensive nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed
