RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Day shift position
• Active nursing license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 2+ years OR RN experience required with combination of Ortho, Plastics, OB/GYN
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in patient care planning
• Work as member of surgical team with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel
• Ensure supplies availability and timeliness of cases
• Communicate with families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards
• Adhere to physician orders and hospital policies and procedures
