RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour day shifts from Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week travel assignment with ASAP start date
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel
• Ensure supplies and timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room
• 2+ years of OR RN experience required with combination of orthopedic, plastics, and OB/GYN experience
• Required certifications: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies
