RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• No call requirements
• 4:1 patient ratio
• Required certifications: ACLS/BLS/TNCC/ENPC or PALS
• Must have 1 year of emergency department experience
• 2 years of ED experience preferred
• ENPC preferred over PALS
• Work with Welch Allyn/GE equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Perform procedures including cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation
• Must be a team player with flexible, positive, and upbeat demeanor
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Self-scheduling available
• 23-bed emergency department with approximately 40 staff members

The emergency department was awarded Unit ICARE in 2023 and takes pride in maintaining exceptional staff retention, having not lost a single staff member to travel nursing during COVID. The department features dedicated charge nurses, collaborative providers, and an active Unit Based Council that meets monthly.
