Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with a 5x8 schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• 1+ year of mammography experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT(R)(M) and BLS from AHA only
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• Work with outpatients in a 1:1 patient ratio
• Use GE equipment and EPIC EMR system
• Dress code requires black scrubs only
• Perform all mammography procedures according to department protocol
• Assist radiologist with special procedures, needle localizations, and biopsies
• Conduct quality control on stereo unit and maintain MQSA quality standards
• Greet patients, provide procedure explanations, and ensure patient safety
• Prepare and stock rooms, check equipment between patients, and maintain clean environment
• QA/QC experience preferred
• No float requirements
