RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Trauma ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Travel assignment in 16-bed Trauma ICU located on 3rd floor
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio (1 RN to 2 patients)
• Work with medical ICU and neuro patient populations
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred experience with medical ICU and neuro patients
• Operate cardiac monitoring equipment, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Assist with typical ICU procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT (when census >14)
• Collaborative team environment seeking team players
• Work alongside experienced staff of 60 total unit employees

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
