Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts)
• Weekend requirement: every third or fourth weekend
• On-call requirement in collaboration with other staff
• Provide critical support for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Work with various patient types including cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, devices
• Operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Act as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Patient to staff ratio: one patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• Current Louisiana State Board of Radiology license required
• Current ARRT National license required
• Current BLS required
• ACLS preferred and highly encouraged
• No floating requirements
• Temp to perm possibility available
• Adhere to departmental and organizational dress code
