RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 2 positions available with immediate start
• Care for patients requiring cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, TAVR, and device placements
• Work every third or fourth weekend
• On-call requirements as scheduled in collaboration with other staff
• No floating requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1 patient to 4 staff members (2 nurses and 2 techs)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
• RN license required in Louisiana or compact state
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days
• Precepted by designated trained staff member during initial on-boarding
• Must complete annual competency verification requirements
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
• Temp to permanent position possibility
