RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a 10-bed ICU unit with 1:4-5 patient ratios
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required with no call responsibilities
• Must have 3+ years recent ICU experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Work with Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, Verathon bladder scanner
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Perform typical ICU procedures including STEMI protocol, stroke protocol, conscious sedation, chest tubes, codes, and intubations
• Must possess strong critical thinking skills, flexibility, compassion, and ability to work well with others
• No floating to other units

The unit maintains appropriate staffing with charge nurses and staff RNs on both day and night shifts, equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring and life support equipment.
