Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Must be able to perform pediatric echoes (0-12 months)
• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Patient ratio of 1 echo per working hour
• Perform 2D transthoracic echocardiograms
• Conduct 2D/3D transesophageal echocardiograms
• Perform dobutamine stress tests
• Conduct pediatric echocardiograms
• Work with GE E90, E95, and S70N equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Utilize Centricity Cardio Workflow (CCW) PACs system
• May float to EKG department
• Surgical scrubs provided
• Follow unit guidelines including echo procedures, dobutamine stress echo protocols, agitated saline echocardiogram procedures, and echo contrast protocols
• Required certifications: BLS and Registered Cardiac Sonography (RCS) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Preferred certification: Certified Pediatric Echocardiographer (PE)
• Must be detail-oriented, team player, adaptable, and proactive
