RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
• Work on 29-bed unit with staffing ratio of 1:4-6 patients
• Care for combination of telemetry and medical status patients
• Treat patients with medical diagnoses including COPD, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, DM, GI bleed, etc.
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays based on department needs
