RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 2/3 split schedule with block scheduling possible upon request
• Call may be required as part of shift responsibilities
• No floating between units
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Work on 24-bed medical surgical unit
• Required to wear royal blue scrubs
• Use CERNER electronic medical record system
• Must include RTO (requested time off) with submission and make up time at end of contract
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Tennessee nursing license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility
• Provide direct and indirect patient care services meeting psychosocial, physical, developmental and general care aspects
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition and diagnostic test results
• Meet communication needs of patients and families
• Demonstrate professional initiative and responsibility in patient care delivery
