RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Intermediate Care Unit on the 2nd floor of the South Tower
• Patient ratios can go up to 1:4 or 1:5 depending on staffing and census
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, and 4 PCTs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, and 4 PCTs
• EMR system: Meditech
• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, NIH
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs with matching jacket, undershirt must be same color as scrubs or white
• Every other weekend required, no on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to all areas within the facility
• Must demonstrate compassionate care, teamwork, patient safety focus, positive attitude, open communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced unit environment required
