RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with ASAP start date
• Floating required to ER and Medical-Surgical departments
• 2+ years ICU experience required
• ER and Medical-Surgical experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
• Provide total ICU patient care in 12-bed unit with 1:2-3 patient ratio
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Float rotation system in place - when floating to ER assist with call lights, medication administration, patient transport, IV starts, and blood draws; when floating to Medical-Surgical take full assignment of up to 6 patients or act as aide for 12 patients
• EMR system: MedHost
• Auto offers only with no interviews required
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if included in submittal
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
