RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Travel assignment in Operating Room (OR) setting
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio in OR
• Work with 15 OR suites on main campus 1st floor
• Must have active registered nurse license
• If on call, must be in department within 30 minutes
• BLS certification required
• Follow AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) requirements
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Scheduling and floating requirements vary upon need
• Perform procedures including Robotic, Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, Trauma, Urology, GYN, and General surgeries
• Work with advanced robotic equipment including 3 robots: 1 DaVinci, 1 MAKO, and 1 Mazor
• Support all service lines except burns and transplants
• Work alongside secretary manager, charge nurse, coordinators, RNs, surgical technicians, and OR aides

This multi-campus healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring a 323-bed main hospital and a 262-bed west campus location. The facility recently completed a 40-bed expansion that enhanced their inpatient rehabilitation unit to 52 beds and added a 24-bed medical/surgical unit. The organization operates five free-standing Emergency Departments to improve community access to care and has earned Leap Frog A facility recognition for safety and quality standards.
