Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit providing care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 ratios for certain device patients
• Required to work 2 weekends per month
• Holiday obligations include 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) and 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day)
• Float as needed to other ICUs and floors when required
• Work with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Must have strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
• Required skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Provide care for patients with ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS
• Assist with central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations performed on unit
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Dress code requires black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with scrub jackets/vests only
• Unit support includes free floating charge nurse, unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, and Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
