Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• One weeknight call and rotating 5th weekend call required
• Must have CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
• Hospital experience preferred
• 2 years nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Work independently and as part of small team of 3 staff members
• Perform various procedures including cardiac/stress studies, renal, cerebral viability, HIDA, SPECT, bone scan, shuntogram, gastric clearance, pulmonary, parathyroid, MUGA, and cisternography
• Work with equipment including Optima 640, GE Infinia, and Adac Forte
• Use unit doses with no compounding on site
• Utilize Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse/PACS systems
• Must be flexible with schedule and willing to trade call nights
• Must be comfortable with late or early exam times

Facility:

This medical center operates a comprehensive nuclear medicine department featuring 3 exam rooms, a hot lab, and an injection room. The facility maintains modern nuclear medicine equipment and utilizes unit dose preparations for enhanced safety. The department works closely with multiple specialty units including ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, and ER to provide diagnostic imaging services. The organization emphasizes teamwork and flexibility while maintaining high standards for nuclear medicine procedures.
