RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required (4 shifts per month)
• BLS certification required
• Hospital experience required
• 3 years or more nursing experience preferred
• Epilepsy care experience preferred
• Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1
• Work with equipment including Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must be open to feedback and demonstrate owner mentality
• Navy blue scrubs with facility logo required
• No routine procedures performed on this unit
• Work alongside charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs in collaborative team environment

This medical center operates a 28-bed medical surgical unit on the 3rd floor, staffed by 32 full-time equivalents including charge nurses, RNs, and patient care technicians.
