RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
• 1-2+ years of experience required
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must follow floating requirements as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6 in 30-bed unit
• Navy blue scrub color requirement
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Scope includes cardiac monitoring and interpretation, IV insertion, lab draws, medication administration, managing cardiac medications, foley insertion, vital signs, assessment documentation, and point-of-care testing
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• 48-hour guarantees not available, blocked scheduling may be requested
