RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts in the Operating Room
• On-call responsibilities include end-of-shift short call shifts (until 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM), averaging about one per week
• Friday and Saturday night call coverage (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) split among all RNs, averaging 1-2 overnight calls every 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage on PRN basis
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• No floating to other units
• Work with advanced equipment including DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump
• Use Altera EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including orthopedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial/neuro procedures
• Must have experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology, and neuro
• Neuro experience preferred for call coverage
• Required certification: ACLS for RNs
• OR-provided scrubs
