Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with no weekends or on-call responsibilities
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients per physician orders
• Perform diagnostic studies and receive/record radiopharmaceuticals
• Conduct daily/weekly QC dose testing and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic procedures
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
• Provide images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation
• Evaluate images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
• Post process imaging within Xeleris and record information in Nemis
• Utilize Electronic Health Record effectively
• Perform NM and Treadmill stress tests under direction of Cardiologist
• Work alongside Cardiologist or ACLS RN for stress procedures
• Maintain clean work environment after each patient and routine basis
• Must have 3 years recent Nuclear Med Tech experience in hospital setting
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT Registration required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required (RQI not accepted)
• Experience with GEHC NM Infinia & NEMIS / Xeleris 5.0 equipment required
• Must know how to perform Stress Echo and have treadmill experience
