RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 30-bed Intensive Care Unit on the 3rd floor
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity and needs
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Float to Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) as needed
• Work with advanced equipment including CRRT, IABP, and potentially Impella (not mandatory for contracts)
• Use Meditech EMR system
• ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips required
• Neurology experience preferred
• Perform procedures including thoracentesis, arterial line and central line placement
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Work alongside a team of 82 staff members with typical day/night shift having 2 charge nurses and 15 bedside nurses
