Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: day shift 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or night shift 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Unit huddle begins at 6:53 AM for day shift and 6:53 PM for night shift
• Monitor 40+ patients per monitor tech using GE Carescape equipment
• Average of 336 patients monitored daily across 7 different hospitals
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks
• Holiday work required
• Position requires extensive sitting with sit-to-stand desk capability available
• Dress code: business casual, no denim, or scrubs of any color
• Previous travel experience in remote monitoring required
• Must be telemetry competent and able to pass basic cardiac rhythm test
• Must analyze and interpret heart rhythms
• Proficient typing skills and basic computer knowledge required
• Basic iPhone operation knowledge necessary
• Must maintain good attendance record and handle high-stress situations calmly
• Cross-training provided on GE Carescape system and Cerner Patient Observer as Virtual Sitter Attendant
• Build end-of-shift reports, add and discharge patients from monitoring system
• Communicate with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone application
• Maintain running call logs and demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities
• Preferred qualifications include CNA background, cardiac nursing experience, medical terminology knowledge, or ECG-Board Certification

Facility:

This healthcare organization operates a specialized Central Monitoring Unit that provides cardiac monitoring services for approximately 336 patients across 7 different hospitals. The facility also offers Virtual Sitter services for the main campus and utilizes advanced GE Carescape monitoring technology. The monitoring unit is strategically located to serve multiple hospital locations, with the facility featuring modern sit-to-stand workstations to support staff comfort during extended monitoring periods.
