RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 4 years of NICU experience required
• Must have minimum 2 years of NICU Level III-IV experience
• Work in 10-bed NICU and 8-bed step-down unit with 20 total staff members
• Patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:1 depending on acuity
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse with up to 4 RNs
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse with up to 4 RNs
• Work with specialized equipment including HFNC, ventilators, SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, PIV, feeding pumps, and IV pumps
• EMR system: CPN/Meditech
• Required certifications: NRP and STABLE
• May float to Newborn Nursery when needed
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
• Minimum 6 weekend shifts per month required (Friday-Sunday)
• Must work well with others, show willingness to help, and be proactive
• Support providers with procedures including intubations, chest tubes, PICC lines, and central lines
