Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in 2-bed Cardiac Cath Lab on 3rd floor
• Patient ratio of 1 patient to 3 staff members
• Team consists of RNs, RTs, and RCIS professionals
• On-call responsibilities for two weekends per month
• May float to sister hospital HCA Clearlake Cath Lab
• Work with GE Table and Merge hemo documentation equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code requires black or blue scrubs
• Must have Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Must be able to scrub devices, perform LHC, and handle peripherals
• EP scrub experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Perform typical procedures including LHC, PCI, peripheral procedures (legs/carotids), EP ablations, PM/ICD, nephrostomy tubes, and embolization
• Must be flexible and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities

The facility is equipped with advanced GE catheterization equipment and uses Merge hemo documentation systems with Meditech EMR integration. The cardiac services department maintains high patient care standards with optimal staffing ratios and offers a wide range of cardiac procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, interventional procedures, electrophysiology services, and peripheral vascular interventions.
