Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 5-day, 8-hour work schedule
• Full-time position
• Perform 6-8 echos per day
• Weekend rotation every 5th week
• On-call requirement 1 week every 5th week
• Two years of experience in cardiology field preferred
• Experience with stress testing preferred
• Required certifications: BLS via AHA, DCS, RCS, or RDMS through ARDMS or CCI
• High school diploma required; graduate of accredited ultrasound technology school preferred
• Perform routine echocardiograms for evaluation of heart defects or disease
• Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms
• Perform stress echocardiograms to evaluate for coronary artery disease
• Work independently without supervision while responding to cardiologist input
• Serve primarily adult echo patients with occasional pediatric telemedicine cases
• Temporary to permanent position possibility available
