RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) on 2nd floor of Heart Tower
• Day shift position with skill mix of RN and surgical technicians (4 each daily)
• 1:1 patient ratios providing individualized care
• Work in fast-paced environment with 3 operating rooms and 26 staff members
• On-call requirements average 4-5 days per month with 1 weekend per month
• May float to Main OR as needed
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Scrubs provided by unit
• Must have open heart and vascular surgery experience
• Operating room experience required
• Open heart and/or vascular experience preferred
• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Typical procedures include CABG, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, ECMO, angiogram, fistulagram, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass
