RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Float position serving multiple patient care units
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age-appropriate populations
• Required certifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, BLS & ACLS Certification from AHA, NRP Certification required
• Must maintain all required certifications without grace period for renewals if obtained at time of hire
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
• Demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient populations served
• Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to developmental age of patients
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking required
• Perform heavy physical tasks including positioning, pushing, and transferring patients or equipment
• Work environment includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays
• Variable working hours with flexibility for unexpected schedule changes and emergencies
• Physical requirements include considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and manual dexterity
