RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: Current Arkansas nursing license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, CPEN
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• No call requirements or weekend hours specified
• No float requirements
• Assess patients, plan and evaluate their care, and educate patients and families
• Utilize appropriate resources to optimize patient care and patient flow
• Follow pain assessment policies and assist with pain management
• Participate in patient safety/risk management programs and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide emergency nursing care in critical care specialty setting
