Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts with varied, rotating days of the week
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Call requirements: Call is required
• 2 years of MRI experience required
• Required licenses: AART (Certification in MRI will be given preference, R.T., R.M.R.I.T.)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists and referring physicians in MRI procedures
• Provide patient care for all age groups from infant to geriatric
• Must be proficient in using various MRI scanning equipment
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Must demonstrate knowledge of advanced physics required to operate MRI scanner efficiently and accurately
• Authority to make technical decisions to provide best possible MRI image quality
• Training required on hospital and department computer systems

Facility:

This medical center is the region's only Level II trauma center, serving a 500-mile radius with 800 inpatient beds and 80 ER beds. The facility operates in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment with volume and pace equivalent to a Level 1 trauma center.
