Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 22-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) located on Floor 3, South Tower
• Patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1 depending on acuity
• Day shift average staffing: 14 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Tech
• Night shift average staffing: 14 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Tech
• Work with advanced equipment including ventilators, CRRT, Impella, and ECMO
• Experience with typical ICU procedures including intubation and cannulation
• Use Meditech Expanse electronic medical record system
• Float to CVIMU and Medical IMU when needed
• Must have CV-ICU experience (candidates without this experience will not be considered)
• Preferred experience with Impella and ECMO
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must demonstrate upbeat and flexible personality
• Follow ICARE values and standard ICU guidelines

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
