RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Work in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
• 1:1 patient ratio providing individualized care
• Must have strong cardiovascular surgery experience
• Work with 5 operating rooms including 3 open ORs and 2 hybrid ORs
• Day shift staffing includes RN, CST, AT, and PCT
• Night shift coverage provided by on-call staff
• 45-minute response time protocol for on-call shifts (measured from phone call to clocking into unit)
• Weekends and nights covered by call shifts
• May float to Spine OR when needed
• Work with EMR system - Meditech
• Participate in procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular procedures, and heart transplants
• Scrubs provided for OR staff
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• CNOR certification preferred for nurses

The facility maintains state-of-the-art hybrid operating rooms and provides comprehensive cardiac services including complex procedures such as heart transplants, aortic replacements, and various cardiovascular surgeries. The organization follows established protocols and maintains high standards for patient care with specialized equipment and experienced multidisciplinary teams.
