Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Provide critical care nursing in ICU setting for adult patients
• Assess patient conditions and plan/implement comprehensive care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians with various medical procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously
• Ensure proper function of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilator settings and IABP as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate and provide education/support to families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• May occasionally care for pediatric/adolescent patients
• Must be able to float between Lander and Riverton campus locations based on census needs
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU RN experience in hospital setting required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS/ENPC (American Heart Association)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required
• Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
