RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must have ability to circulate independently as an OR RN
• CNOR certification preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• RN who can scrub preferred
• Work in 14-room operating suite including 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto room, and 12 multipurpose ORs
• Handle all types of surgical procedures except transplants
• Work with standard OR equipment and Stryker video systems
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio
• Call responsibilities include 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM one day per week and weekend call once every 6 weeks when SSC ortho doctor is on call
• Must be friendly and adaptable to change
• Work alongside experienced team including OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, and Clinical Charge RNs

This 408-bed hospital features a comprehensive surgical department with modern operating facilities and advanced technology. The facility maintains a full-service OR with specialized rooms for various surgical procedures and is equipped with state-of-the-art Stryker video systems. The organization employs approximately 60 FTEs in the surgical department and provides a collaborative environment with experienced staff members across multiple specialties.
