Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Post Anesthesia Care
Job Details:
• Night position for 23-hour overnight stay unit specializing in Cardiac Cath/EP TAVR and vascular procedures
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 hours per week preferred, 36 hours per week acceptable
• Saturday day shifts scheduled every other weekend
• Rotating call requirements with occasional on-call weekends
• Every other weekend call requirements
• 3 years PACU experience with recent experience required
• Must have ICU experience and Trauma Level 1 experience
• Must have prior travel experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Float requirements to Bramhall PACU/IMC/ICU as needed
• Work with 40 pre-post beds and 9 overnight bays in 23-hour short stay unit
• Patient ratios: 2:1 Phase 1 Care (up to 3-4 in 23-hour stay)
• Must be able to read tele strips and provide pre and post procedure care for TEE/CV/CATH/EP procedures
• Handle cardiac drips, IVs, telemetry monitoring, Phase 1 care, groin management, and EKGs
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, arterial lines, tele monitoring, and TEE/CV equipment
• Use Epic EMR system
• Dress code requires scrubs (any color), fragrance-free environment
• Artificial nails and cell phone use not permitted
• Team player with excellent communication skills and flexible, can-do attitude required

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
