RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend minimum requirement
• Float to Emergency Department when needed
• Handle mixed medical-surgical patients with 6:1 ratio, occasionally 7:1
• ICU/step-down patients with 4:1 ratio (typically more step-down than ICU patients)
• Must have ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience
• At least 1 travel assignment required prior to consideration
• ICU experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including thoracentesis, ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, and dressing changes
• Must demonstrate outgoing personality and strong teamwork skills

This brand-new 30-bed critical access hospital features state-of-the-art facilities including three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The facility provides larger, more spacious patient rooms and offers comprehensive outpatient services including wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and rehabilitation therapies. The hospital has earned recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and received multiple honors from the Joint Commission and American Heart Association for stroke and diabetes care excellence.
