RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-bed cardiovascular operating room suite providing pre, intra, and post-operative care
• Day shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 2 Techs with 2:1 patient ratios
• On-call requirements approximately every other day and every other weekend
• Night shift coverage is on-call basis
• Must have ACLS, BLS certifications and 2 years current experience in acute CVOR setting
• Experience with open heart instrumentation, TEE equipment, and ultrasound required
• Documentation using Meditech system
• Perform typical procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, pacemaker implantation, laser lead extractions
• Handle thoracic procedures, endovascular procedures, and standby for TVAR and mitral clips
• Prefer experience in minimally invasive cardiac procedures
• May provide lunch relief coverage in vascular, robotics, general, ortho, neuro/spine, urology, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate healthcare services for surgical patients
• Ensure sterile procedures, equipment availability, and proper specimen handling
• Maintain quality control and patient safety standards
• Scrubs provided by facility
