Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Call requirements include every other weekend Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 5:59 AM
• Prepare catheterization lab and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards throughout procedures
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Participate in daily room checks and supply stocking
• Ensure proper patient positioning and table security for procedures
• Support physicians during procedures and anticipate their needs
• Operate specialized cath lab equipment including imaging systems, contrast injectors, hemodynamic systems, and various cardiac devices
• Maintain proficiency in access site management
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only) and ACLS (AHA only)
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• State licensure required based on modality (New Mexico: RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED)
• Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, or various ARRT/ARDMS specialties
• Adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policies
