Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts
• Call requirements: every other weekend Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 5:59 AM
• Full-time position serving as backfill for vacant position
• Operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition systems
• Prepare catheterization lab and ensure all equipment is operational
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards throughout procedures
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Support physicians during procedures by anticipating needs and ensuring patient safety
• Perform daily room checks and supply stocking
• Train on specialized cath lab technologies including IVUS, ICE, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems
• Handle patient transport as appropriate and maintain proficiency in access site management
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
• Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, or various ARRT registrations
• Graduate from accredited radiology technology school or associate's degree in healthcare field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• New Mexico state licensure required (RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED)
