RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekend requirements up to 2 per 4-week schedule
• No on-call requirements but may be placed on-call if unit or hospital has low census
• Floating requirements when census or acuity is low - may be floated to work as sitter or help with CNA duties
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards
• Handle emergency and crisis situations with extensive standing and walking required
• Perform heavy physical tasks including positioning, pushing and transferring patients or equipment
• Work in bloodborne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS Certification from AHA required
• ACLS Certification from AHA required
• PALS Certification from AHA required (or ENPC)
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Must demonstrate manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and visual/hearing acuity within normal limits
