RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 2+ years of operating room experience required
• Must have CVOR and Vascular OR experience
• Required certifications: Current Arkansas licensure, BLS, ACLS
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to hospital policies and standards
• Complete patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with surgical team
• Document patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs
• Recognize potential problems and communicate to appropriate surgical team members
• Document nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses
• Anticipate surgical team needs by assembling supplies according to surgeon preference cards
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Flu vaccination required with client-approved exemptions only
• No weekend hours, call requirements, or float requirements
