Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work schedule: Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Weekend requirement: Yes, Sunday shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating to other locations required
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred
• IV start experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT certification in MRI and BLS through American Heart Association
• IV certification preferred
• Perform high quality MRI examinations for radiologist interpretation
• Manipulate exam parameters to accommodate patient size, body habitus, and specific needs
• Manage patient flow and obtain pertinent medical information
• Perform quality assurance/quality control in accordance with ACR guidelines
• Start, maintain, and remove IVs and operate power injector equipment
• Monitor contrast media administration and respond to adverse reactions
• Use vital signs monitoring equipment for critical patients
• Lift, transfer, and position patients and equipment exceeding 50 pounds regularly
• Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology required
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and magnetic field environment
