RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift with no call required
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1 in 6-bed pre-op/phase II and 2-bed PACU unit
• Work exclusively with RNs (no techs, HUCs, or PCTs available)
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and monitor post-operative patients in PACU or Phase II recovery
• Majority of patients discharge home same day
• Handle general surgery, minor orthopedic and laparoscopic surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology, GYN, and endoscopy procedures
• Use GE monitors for patient monitoring
• Document using Cerner system
• Must have Pre-op/PACU experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Green OR scrubs provided by hospital
• Work with tenured staff with 10+ years experience
