Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36-hour guarantee and no cancellations
• Float between PCU unit and two other Med/Tele units, all caring for telemetry patients
• May float to all MS units, ER, L&D, Behavioral Health, and ICU (taking MS overflow patients)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:4 pediatrics (based on acuity level)
• Electronic Medical Record system: Allscripts Sunrise
• Support staff includes tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs
• Any color scrubs allowed (scrubs not provided)
• Work in acute care setting with hospitalist in-house 24/7
• No IV team on-site
• Respiratory therapist and pharmacy available 24/7
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy allows 3 cancellations per 13 weeks

The hospital features multiple medical/telemetry units, PCU, emergency department, labor & delivery, behavioral health services, and intensive care unit. The facility maintains 24/7 hospitalist coverage, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services to ensure continuous patient care. The organization supports a collaborative care environment with dedicated support staff including telemetry technicians, charge nurses, unit coordinators, and patient care technicians.
